Rocket jumping refers to the action of firing a projectile at a player's feet to launch them to a height greater than would be reached by normal jumping. Noteworthy weapons include the eightball (primary fire) and ASMD (alternate fire). Firing either of these weapons at one's feet while jumping will launch the player to greater heights.
Rocket jumping can be used to get to areas that are not normally reachable or get to areas earlier than normal.
